Print and check your treasure-hunt cards
A quick print check can prevent clipped clues, missing names and a confusing hiding sequence.

Open the file before printing
Check the child’s name, language and age on the cover. Zoom in on a clue card if you are using a phone. Keep the adult preparation and solution pages away from the children. Download and save the file so you can print individual pages again if needed.
Use A4 and single-sided printing
Choose A4 and actual size first. If your printer warns about its printable area, choose fit to printable area and check one page. You do not need borderless printing. Test one clue page before printing the complete set.
Check readability and cutting
The puzzles use text and instructions rather than colour as the answer, so a readable greyscale print can work. Check small lettering and the central cut line, especially in draft mode. An adult cuts each clue sheet in half, then sorts the cards in numerical order.
Print for the group
The group shares one set of clue cards. The named certificate is for the child whose name you entered; a separate blank certificate is available for guests. Card 2 goes at the place described by card 1, not at its own answer. Finish by walking the route once with the adult guide.
